WEEK 3 RECAP - Bryant " 007 " Picone

RF = Hurt Locker vs. Bomb Squad
Game 1: Royal Flush (73) v. Bomb Squad (51)
BOOM!!!… The Bomb Squad failed to defuse Royal Flush in this one. Royal
Flush, led by a frenzied Mark Lee, quickly took over the game and didn’t look back. Mark dropped a season, career and league-wide high of 35 points on 21 shots. Draining 5 treys, Mark even got his teammates going with 7assists. Kwon Lim was the beneficiary of a few of those as he tallied 15 points and co-led the team with 6 boards (Bada also had 6). On the other
side of ball, James Choi totaled 24 points, 6 REBs and 3 ASTs. Kenny Jang
also contributed a solid performance with 11 points, but Mark and RF were
too much for the overmatched Bomb Squad.

Game 2: Strong Island (60) v. Team NYCE (49)
Strong Island’s double-headed monster of Rich Tung and David Ri wouldn’t let
their appetites be sated until the final whistle. Feasting upon Team NYCE,
Tung and Ri sliced and diced their way to 17 and 24 points, respectively. Ri
also corralled 7 REBs while Tung dropped 6 dimes. For Team NYCE, Tim Chi
chipped in 20 while pulling down 8 boards and snagging two steals. Ace, who
had a rough day in terms of shooting percentage, managed 12 points while
Peter Park and Elitar Kim each had 7 to go with their 11 and 7 REBs
respectively.

Game 3: DB Isonation (47) v. CRBJ (38)

DB Isonation’s duo of Chris Youn and Austen Park set the tone in this one.
Chris’ 19 and 9 just narrowly missed another double-double, while Austen
chipped in an economical 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting. CRBJ fielded a squad
of nine players for this one, with Han Choi and Jong Girl Kwon leading the
team in scoring, both with 11. Inho Kim and Hae Chon Kim hit the glass hard
and did their best Mr. Clean impression by each grabbing 8 boards. If DB Iso
had shot better than 57% from the FT line, this one may have been further
out of reach, but give credit to CRBJ for using all their fouls and making
DB Iso work hard for the W.
